I’d wanted to see New York in fall ever since watching Sex and the City and Gossip Girl. The colorful leaves, Central Park scenes, and stylish streets made it unforgettable onscreen. When I finally visited, the city was just as striking—crisp air, cinnamon from bakeries, fall colors, and Halloween events everywhere.
Fall in NYC is one of the best times to visit, with vibrant scenery and fewer crowds than summer or winter. This guide covers the best fall-themed attractions in New York.
